Interesting idea to bring those god hand controls back. It's hard to judge because of how early the prototype is, but keep in mind that attacks in god hand had very distinct effects, like guard break, sweep, launch, etc. Be sure to bring those mechanics over, and work hard on the animations to make them readable and reactable, or you'll get hate because of the """janky""" gameplay.

Ive played god hand a lot before so the controls were easy to pick up, the heavy attack animations could be shorter and move you less, also blocking with the sword is less intuitive for a player that hasn't played god hand since it makes no sense that i "blocks" attacks that come from the side, good job besides that.
The controls are really weird and takes a while to get used to, maybe because I never played God Hand so idk. I like the concept of the game and timing my attacks and dodges and all that. I wish the areas were a little bit more lit but I understand this is just a tutorial for a simple demo. I also liked the in depth tutorial explaining the combat mechanics. I would love to see a full game come out of this, it's right up my alley. I should probably play God Hand sometime as well. Good stuff.

Interesting, needs some player feedback through some audio (sword slashes, sword clashing sounds, hit sounds, etc.)
The tutorials are playstation controller only, which was a little confusing while using an xbox 360 controller. Needs some zeroing options to account for joystick drift (Was stuck jumping left for a while)
