We've noticed that you are using at least one freeware asset for your game (https://cloudnovel.net/Neeka/character/ame-onna) where the creator has requested that users credit them ("You may use in your commercial and free projects as long as you credit the artist Rambitious~").
Our rules also ask that users credit where they obtain their freeware/commercial assets - see rule #3 on our jam page: https://itch.io/jam/advjam2023
We'd like to ask you to update your page description to credit the creator of this asset (and any others that you may have used for your submission). Failing to do so may lead to a disqualification.
I've disqualified your submission for now, but if you update your game/game page to credit the original creators between now and the time the voting period ends, please let me know - I'd be happy to re-add it as an Adventure Jam entry!
Hello! These need to be added to your game page on Itch where the info can be easily found - not the submission page here. It would also be good practice to list the added the assets you've used in the game's credits moving forward.
There are also some assets you've listed here that do not have the creator's name attached - listing file names is not enough!
Finally, it's been brought to my attention that you've provided an entirely different asset list to another game jam: https://itch.io/post/8005329 Seeing as it's the same game, the asset list should be the same for both pages.
If you update your game/game page to properly credit the original creators between now and the time the voting period ends (this includes naming the creators, making sure that *all* used assets are credited, and listing these credits on your Itch game page), I'd be happy to re-add it as an Adventure Jam entry. Until then, I will have to leave this as disqualified. Sorry!
The music was awesome and those characters are super cute. The story was a bit heady for me and it did not illicit a sense of connection to the characters or the world they inhabit. I don’t think I understood the stakes the main character faced, other than avoiding an existential understanding of a worl that appeared rather existential.

Now?
Next time, maybe you could be more active when you do this, so the jam wouldn't end before any replies...
