The game looks really nice, and plays smoothly. Art is lovely, and I wish I could fly with that cape I have! haha, maybe later in the game I get it as I progress...
I do have two comments that might be of help: 1) music is a bit disturbing in their tones (not the instrumentation), but gameplay seems cozy and lovely. I feel some disconnection there. 2) when you jump, the base platform where you would land disappears and it makes it a bit extra difficult to land safely.
It is a very well polished submission though, so congratulations on getting this complete before due date!
I'll fix the music and move the screen faster to see the platform!

The platforming feels pretty good and the pixelart animations are cool. I think the game needs more adventure elements and the music needs some more polish. It was fun exploring and trying to find the keys. Good job!

This was a little too much platformer and too little adventure for me. Or maybe I just didn't get far enough in the game to understand the story. (I finished level 1 but couldn't find the key in level 2.) However, as a platformer, it was quite fun to jump around and the difficulty level is good too. I liked the character animations and design. Music was trippy in a good way. You also added some checkpoints which was helpful. If I had to suggest something, maybe add different kinds of barriers in addition to the spikes to add some variety? All in all, a good game for such a short development period!

The game is so fun the character the animations the style is very good but if you add a coyotte time(hang time) it will be so much better and also a dust particle when the player move.

I had a fun little jump around - thanks. I know someone else didn't love the music, but I actually quite enjoyed it - it made everything feel a bit frantic, which added to the pressure of not falling, so it kinda worked for me.

i like the snappy movement
the music sounds bit harsh in my opinion, maybe choose different instrument sounds?
also noticed that when you die the music resets. if it could continue to play that might be cool
the coins need to make a sound when you collect them i think, it'd be more responsive.
