Very difficult to figure out mechanics, could use more documentation. I couldn't figure out how to craft anything. Pointers?

talk to the horse in the lower left corner of the starting town and pick [yes]. left/right to select a herb from the inventory in the very bottom, Z to insert it for crafting, and Enter to actually craft when you have a proper recipe.

Game was mechanically hard to figure out, with no tutorials or explanations. once I did figure it out, the game was pretty decent, but the enemies are way too strong for the first floor of the dungeon
