Nice game! :D
That Red Rangers got some mad ups! Somehow button mashing and wildly flinging yourself around is really fun even if it just gets you killed very quickly. After I did that for a bit I managed to almost defeat the crab once!
This was really a fun game to play. The only thing I would recommend is to decrease the distance at which you dash since it sends you moving further than you can see on the scree, but that's not too big of an issue since you can do slight adjustments by jump kicking. Great job.
This was a pretty good game. I felt like there could've been some sort of tutorial or some small enemies to get used to the controls though because the boss was pretty hard for being the first thing you face in the game. I felt like the controls are pretty tight, but whenever I wanted to move a little to the right, for example, I would tap the button and I would instead go flying into the robot. I think it could be solved by something like hold right to move right, and double tap to attack while on the ground or something like that.
This was cute and fun! I’m glad it had a little story. Took me a moment to figure out that I could jump multiple times but once I figured that out, the fight made sense. Loved the art, great job
Thank you very much for playing! I appreciate that you liked the little cut scenes and the art
Really great game! the controls were super smooth and it felt fun to zip around the screen and fight he crab. I loved the vine boom and taco bell sound effect for getting hit that was pretty funny. sometimes it was kind of hard to hit the boss and it was kind of hard to angle the down kicks to hit things but still, a great entry!
I am happy to hear that you enjoyed the movement and the funny sound effects! Thank you for the feedback on down kicks, after the jam, I will think about how to improve that
Wow the art here is fantastic! I also thought the movement mechanics were super interesting. I expected it to control like a typical platformer, but definitely has its own twist. Well done!
I am glad you liked the art and the mechanics! Thank you for playing!
