Technically impressive! I would really want to see the source code behind this cool project! Great!

Great! Only problem is that the arrow buttons does not work, since the whole screen starts scrolling.

Developer

If focusing on the game panel doesn't eliminate scrolling, you can use Q/W to steer (Q/S on azerty keyboard) and N/space for acceleration/brake.

Good to know. You might consider putting that info on the starting page.

Very graphically impressive. Really interested in the tech behind the worldgen, and would love to read a writeup if you'd be willing to do one. The lighting was interesting and the headlights a nice touch. I even enjoyed exploring offroad! A really solid basis for a larger project in future, if you have the time to build a game around it. :)

Developer

Thanks. The worldgen is based on a pseudorandom walk. I'll post a wiki entry on the project's Github page. Stay tuned.

As for future projects, KilledByAPixel gave me some very insightful suggestions about other games genres that could benefit from reusing that rendering engine. Theme permitting, more about that next year :)

The physics felt really good on this and your colour choices for the backdrops are really nice! Very cool game!
