I really tried to play this game. I was impressed that it runs in command prompt (and it uses FMOD!), but the window is completely blank. I can hear the sound though. I tried different things like launching the game's exe normally, running the bat file as Admin. I even tried to launch it through PowerShell in Admin mode.
I still wanted to rate the game though. The music/sound effects seem to be the only thing that works in the game. Everything sounds awesome. The graphics of the game from the screen shots look very well done. I looked through the included instructions booklet (which helps with presentation), and it seems to have a strong sense of design. However, the presentation is brought down by the fact that I cannot launch the game. If this was brought to my attention earlier in the week, you could have fixed it and reuploaded it (since it's a game breaking bug). I digress, thank you for submitting, and I do hope you fix the game and reupload it in the near future.

Really wish I could play this. Can you try and patch post-jam? I think the fact that it’s a command line game is really interesting, and from the images and gif it looks really nice too! But I also get that black screen. Tried compatibility mode, running as admin, and nada. I can see it doing stuff from a second command line that opened up, but the main window is black.

For me the game starts, but nothing is displayed in the console screen except the cursor seeming to flicker around in the bottom. FMOD seems to be working fine as I can hear the rain and background music. I’m using Windows 11 23H2.
Oh wow, that's embarassing lol. Just curious, are you running in admin mode?
I’m not running in admin mode, but when I do run launcher.bat in admin mode, the window briefly flashes and closes again, so that seems to be working even less.
I cant download/play the game?
