I'll say right off the bat that I only have played through Zombie Girl's route as of the writing of this review but I loved what I saw. Sam's feelings were so well-described and very relatable (...a bit too much, whoops-). When she was explicitly revealed to be trans, while happy for the trans rep, I did actually have a bit of anxiety fearing that either A) her parents might have been the source of her estrogen meds and they might threaten to take that away for her defiance; B) her mother might cruelly call her by a deadname if/when a confrontation happened (or, C, the absolute worst- BOTH). However I continued playing on despite my fears and thankfully this proved to be unfounded in ZG's route at least - a confrontation did happen but neither meds nor names were used as leverage.

(I'll update this review if either happens in Liam's route or the poly route, but I doubt it, and I do hope those doubts are correct)

Other than my (self-imposed and unneeded) anxiety, the game was glorious!!! I also liked the little hidden story unlocked after ZG's route (without going into too much detail for the sake of not spoiling others, I'd love to see a small side game with those characters some day, they looked ADORABLE) and look forward to seeing what I might unlock from Liam's route!
