Dingo rated Fatal Force

Dingo rated a game 3 years ago
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android.

Perhaps a little too early to judge, but the rate game is here for a reason.

I like some the characters and some of the artwork (its either a hit or miss really). The story seems a little interesting. I love the sass and comedy in it, and some of the character designs are very cute/hot. I still think it isn't very unique, some grammar mistakes were made, and the character's reactions sometimes does not feel genuine. There is some actual care to deliver it to other viewers in mind, but in the few times horny stuff comes up there is like no convincing reason why the characters do the things they do and it feels forced by the writer. However I would give this VN a very nice 4/5 and would recommend it to others who I know at least enjoy canine datable characters or likes werewolf situations.

*I dont mind horny characters. I do mind it when a writer goes out of their way to force a horny situation to happen to characters theyre trying to write as not-horny. It doesn't feel real ya know? And yes, IK this is supposed to be a story and entertain, but it is more enjoyable to let such a outcome come up from some situation that makes it believable you know? Like in FBtW Ranok doesnt want to come off across as a horn dog, acts disgusted when his dirty loincloths is used as a gag, but reluctantly agrees to a cuddle because of a fever and a lack of blankets. It feels natural that he would lack blankets right? It's justified horniness coming from a character that does not want to come off across as horny. The broken phone that comes up in this story just seems stretched. I just dont find it believable that a straight, not horny character, would bring up what he saw and say he is cool with it. I would think he would not bring it up AT ALL or find a softer way to deliver that message. I mean living with Micky and saying he is okay with him and when he noticed MCs heart rate would be more than enough. But nope. We had it rubbed in that we like furry porn and needed a stern message that he is straight. It just feels like the writer got lazy/not creative and didnt know how to write a situation that says: Draveyar is going to play "hard to get". And how will we tear down his walls. It isn't just this situation, but everything from the feral werewolf that attacks the MC to some of the characters who are just cooperating with this werewolf trio team, or those villains who insist on messing with them, all seems just a tiny bit unbelievable, due to a lack of creativity or effective convincing from the writer. I think the author's first language isn't even english? So I dont want to come off across as too harsh! This VN is quite nice! However as a fellow writer, I can only respect other's who strive for greater works. Albeit enjoyable, how realistic you can make your character's motivations and actions also gets you points, and I find that talent quite lacking in this VN, but not entirely gone. It's better than what an average high schooler (native to the english language) would write, that's for sure.
