The game relies heavily on nostalgic technology sounds (like dial-up internet) mixed with nature, which usually produces a vibe that works well with the atmosphere. The vibes are the whole point of the game. Sometimes, when the levels and their spectacle/reveal/design is less mesmerizing, the progression of "gameplay" can be a bit slow. But usually it's a relaxing, atmospheric experience.
Mechanic is clicking, usually on a slowly blinking light, or rotating the camera for a new angle on a fixed axis. The "lighting design" in this game is the most effective contribution to mood.
The set pieces combining urban landscape and plant life make for some of the most interesting visuals in the game, in my opinion. Of the 10 "levels," my favorite involved a parking lot, because of what it did with sound design and the camera. The escalator level was too short; I wanted to follow it forever.
