This was a super enjoyable game. It handled its serious subject matter in a way that was thoughtful and informative. I loved the little new letters that the main character got about how death is treated in different cultures and how there are more environmentally friendly options out there. I also loved that each segment could only be completed after you talked to all of the deceased loved ones, but more importantly, bowing to the deceased.
The aesthetic of the game was soft in all of the right ways. I loved a lot of the tiny details too, like the coffee mug when you were in the computer screen. The different details that were put into each urn too made it that much more hard-hitting when the greedier company took over.
The music for the game was also solid. I hated some of the sound effects for the different tasks though. They were super accurate to what I imagine all of them would sound like, but BOY was everything real juicy sounding in my ears. It was visceral and unpleasant, nut again, I assume accurate.
Thank you for this bitesize glimpse into the deathcare industry.
