I hate Visual Novels and I hate that they're called games today. I hate that they end up more like a glorified comic book and how the very limited interaction you have with the world has little to no actual impact. The only VN I've played that actually earns the title of Game is Ravager... I hate overly long and drawn out stories that have hardly any heart to it... So I'm happy to say that Corrupted Kingdoms makes for a wonderful interactive story! Like I said before, I can only really call something a game when your choices actually change how events pan out, even if its just for the next 10 minuets, so CK doesn't earn much in that department. However, the story is amazing (despite the fact I wasn't paying attention to the first few minuets of the story,) The characters are well made, the world building could admittedly use some work, and the side content that has little to nothing to do with the main story events, such as dealing with the murder mystery event or visiting the council members, is very well done and actually have some fun content. Now, and this is just a personal problem of mine and it might have to do with my labido, but the H-scenes could be longer IMO. Again, this is personal and I know the length right now keeps the pacing on track and prevents you from spending 15 minuets on a scene with a character you didn't even like to begin with.
Now, while I can't say I'd spend money on this in its current sate, I can say that I've spent over 24 hours to fully explore everything I could in a single save file. 24 hours and even still, there is stuff I've missed and things I'll need another save file or two for. The abundant of content is well done and it feels like it was written by a professional! Y'all have my highest praise for this game and I thank you for making one of the 4 VN I can say I've actually enjoyed in the past 3 years!
