Absolutely terrific narrative game! There are things I feel would improve it, but it's excellent as it is.
I'd like to have more information about the crew members- both before and after recruiting them. When given a choice between recruits, all we seem to have to go on is their general job description, although it's clear they have opinions and ethical stances which might conflict with the player's- that said, I'd also like to see more opportunities to appease them once you've upset them. It seemed to me once I had upset one crewmember, it was a fast track to mutiny, no matter what I did afterward. Is there any means to regain "upstanding"ness once it's been lost? That too seems lacking.
I'd also like to see some means of increasing cargo space. Maybe offer a choice between smuggler's bay and more (legitimate) cargo space, or between passenger bay and a second cargo bay?
I took on the stowaway several times, but his story was always the same. Perhaps there might be some alternate stowaway types- a young run-away, an escaped slave or prisoner, a criminal on the run...
