This game suffers from two major problems. 1) A lack of visibility 2) A lack of direction.
1) The entire game has a VHS esque film grain overlay on it that can get pretty extreme from time to time, when you combine that with a VERY low view distance and a generally dark atmosphere it can get very difficult to know what's happening or where to go. There was one moment where I was going through a hallway and actually could, not, see, anything. I was squinting at my monitor trying to see what was happening and I simply could not.
2) This problem partly comes from the first problem but does deserve it's own spot. The game just generally lacks direction. At one point it drops you into a wide flat plane with no walls, I walked for a couple minutes before my footsteps stopped. That's right, I said footsteps. That's how I knew I had stopped, there was absolutely zero visible indicator that I had hit anything. I wandered for another few minutes in the empty plane before finding the entrance point and realizing I needed to interact with something there. This problem is only magnified by the lack of visibility since, with no visibility, it's even harder to tell where you are in relation to other things. At certain points there did seem to be a dotted line of "breadcrums" but those were only there sometimes and with such low view distance you have to choose between looking at the ground for those or looking at the enviorment. I also occasionally found myself questioning if it was the end of the game or not because I simply couldn't see where to go next.
Overall Paycific worked with such low view distance because it didn't have much, if any, film grain, and it was all in small rooms and hallways where your options for where to go were limited.
The game isn't even that scary, it mostly just has various buzzing sounds, the scariest thing is a walking hat rack that follows you around sometimes but never hurts you.
In conclusion a poorly made un-scary game with low visibility and poor direction that is not a good follow up too Playcific, nor a good game in it's own right.
Rating-1.6 for concept, penalty for everything else.
PS: It pains me to give this game such a low score, I greatly enjoyed Playcific and will still be watching closely at this dev for future releases but I simply cannot give this game a good score in good conciouncess.
