Thematic, sandboxy, and eminently usable. 

The real stars of the show are the GM aids. There are trackers for NPC goals, faction summaries, and a framework for how the garden evolves as the "villains" progress towards their vile goal. In a sea of indie RPGs that only scratch the surface of fun ideas without providing actual play procedures and usable content, this little pamphlet packs a ton of gameable content into a fun mini sandbox. 

Also, the color palette and art are great.
