This amazing game mixes some of the best parts of its influences in such a way that creates its own atmospheric, open world masterpiece. It's, in a sense, truly open world, because the main "goal" is to just explore and do events, while piecing together the lore of the land. I could best compare it to Metro/STALKER mixed with Ys, wrapped up in a Roguelike.

It's something of a technical marvel and shows off some exceptional skills and talent from the dev. The passion and ambition seem to bleed through. I'm excited to get to play HOME GAME and its sequels.
