While the overall aesthetic is pleasant, I found the controls clunky and the ending unfulfilling. There are hints of a more relaxed island-time vibe which is a good idea for a kind of time loop game but the act of relaxing in game is not well translated to any kind of relaxation to the player. On the games page there is mention of alternate endings which in theory may provide further closure, but without more guidance than the end screen telling me I missed all the "moons" I am simply not motivated enough to bother trying to find them. Which was particularly disappointing when contrasted against the effort clearly spent trying to gently nudge the player in the right direction with both the crow and the ferryman dropping hints. I tried to spend some time exploring to find any hint of were a moon may reside but ultimately quit in frustration due to poor umbrella controls and a complete lack of direction. Between a lack luster ending and finicky platforming I leave the game with a bad taste despite the strong start.
