Olympus Love is a short free Otome game inspired by Greek mythology where you play as Cassie, a citizen of Helena, who ends up pursuing either Ares, Poseidon or Hades because they can help with Helena's problems and not totally, like, because I'm simping for them.
Coming into this, I knew it would be a very short indie game and wasn't expecting anything grandiose, and that is fine. I do think the world requires short otome games where I can play one for a few minutes, enjoy myself, and not commit 10 hours into it. Overall, I had a pleasant experience (if the 4 stars weren't clear enough).
A few of the good points for me was the art. Nothing mind blowing, but I do think it's still very pretty and well done. Congrats to the artist, whoever they are. The story is also okay. It becomes a bit predictable, to be honest. Each "route" ends up a parallel of each other, where you eventually have a fight with your hunkalicious before his sexy brother says something akin to 'yo my bro loves you' and you get back together. The characters were also likeable and their designs were pretty good, I even liked Poseidon, and that is saying a lot because I'm not really too into the character with the glasses.
As for cons, well, with the exception of the aforementioned repetitive story similarities in every route...I guess not much. I was initially a bit angry that I couldn't see the guy's thighs, but that's just me simping. Just kidding. A real con is that the save system wouldn't work, saves would disappear between closing and opening the game, as well as sometimes give me an error screen upon opening it.
Anyway, if you want to play a game where you seduce a himbo Ares, sad boy Hades or smort Poseidon and take...probably less than one or two hours, then this is the game for you. I have actually no idea how long this game takes, I am bad at that. Peace.
