Hedge is a great example of how you can take an SRD and create a really good game out of it. The setting is compelling, the mechanics are really suited to bring to life the gaming experience the designers (and the original Lumen designer) intended to.

The layout is lean, beautiful to see and the base game can be read and taught in the matter of minutes.

The playbooks are so nice. Every Warden clearly has a role in the battlefield and a player can easily understand which role is it reading few lines about it.

The rewarding mechanics and the questions about the home world of the Wardens allow to deepen the setting even further, letting the players find out the answers in their games.

This is a crazy good product and it will get even better after Earth is released. Definetly a must have.
