While I've enjoyed work from Argent Games before, this has to be the weakest piece of theirs I've played yet, despite it's hefty price tag.

• Lack of diversity, no brown people, no fatter people, no disabled people.
• Racist MC; the main character describes himself as a xenophobic person who isn't a nationalist because he likes food from other countries. Meaning his dislike of foreign things is specific to people... Aka racist.
• More racism: The game also has some subtle racist implications in that the story revolves around 'scary foreign delegates' (who you pretty much never see) who might be out to murder you.
  
• Even more racism: It has one established foreign man who is whiter than a piece of egg washed bread. However he's described as tanned, eXoTiC and is portrayed as excessively predatory. You know, the way people speak about dark skinned people.
• Ableism in how it constantly speaks badly of the character with a stutter.
• Sexism in how it speaks about most AFAB characters, while only having a handful of them, all with unimportant roles. (Girl, mother, 'witch hag aunt', 'bimbo' girl and disembodied stalker.)
• Love interests are boring (besides Linnaeus) and the main character is rude, obnoxious and unintelligent (yet he has to solve the mysteries because everyone else is even more useless).
• The writing is pretty bad, with typos, misused words, double negatives, sentences that don't make sense etc.
• Accents are questionable, like the Queens English with a Cockney accent, a few other cross cultural blends that are meant to sound British or from within the UK... Besides one American sounding dude.
