What a lo-fi and low key surprise!
The flying and climbing reminds me of A Short Hike but the world feels like a mix of elements from Anachronox, Tenderfoot Tactics, Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. There are unusual sights, towering landmarks, little villages populated by quiet folk and other surprises to find. It's mostly visual, but I still found it enjoyable to poke around.
My favourite thing about Commune Corvidae is that it takes place after the bad guys have been defeated so you're witnessing a society rebuilding itself. I found the sense of renewal and... relief among the people very comforting, and that was before all the exploring and just taking in the sights of the game with its day and night cycle. The lighting is really nice.
I wish there was more sound and that some of the music didn't end quite so abruptly, but all in all, a really cool, relaxing and intriguing experience. It deserves more attention!
