It wasn’t bad, especially for a 29 hours one. The atmosphere could be a bit better, because the music wasn’t good enough. It was just a single sample repeating itself for twenty minutes. And then the occasional woooooAAAAAAAHWWooooAAAAH appearing. But maybe it’s made on purpose to keep that pixelated minimalistic aspect, you know.
The spooks were great. I loved those footsteps, they made me jump a little.
The concept is not entirely new. Sure it’s unique in a way. Fortunately this game wasn’t as bad as some other post-apocalyptic indie games, but still it feels a bit empty. Yes, there were different rooms, tape recorders, chairs, beds, windows, some jumpscares, even those corpses. But the game itself could be a bit better in storytelling. Some sheets of paper here and there besides those tapes.
But as I said it’s a decent game for a 29 hours one.
