this game whips, rips, and slaps. the storytelling is emotional and funny and there's a LOT of thought put into making combat tactical and fun. it even has a cool item crafting system. the core concept of "destined hero rises to defeat ancient evil" has been done approximately one hundred trillion times but the twist of "also the hero is in love with the villain and they're both girls 😳" breathes an incredible amount of new life into the old tropes.
