This demo looked great initially but ultimately I was a bit disappointed by it. I absolutely love the artwork and aesthetic, and I usually enjoy mysteries, but I think the overall sense of the plot and characters is a bit vague so far. I found myself asking questions about the city/S.Humans that should have been explained upfront for the reader, a lot of the protagonists' internal monologue bits didn't really add to the story, and I think the year "2XXX" lacks all meaning. I also love to see diverse representation, but an S.Human having prosthetics just didn't make sense/feel believable to me. If an updated demo is released after the game is finished, I would give it a try if it was longer or if the writing was improved.
