Embric of Wulfhammer's Castle is a singularly beautiful mix of love, engaging and quirky humor, crushing darkness, and hope.  It affected me as an audience, opening my eyes to possibilities in storytelling that I had never really acknowledged before, and it affected me as a person, overwhelming me at times with emotion and striking deep into the wells of sympathy and empathy within me.  Years and years later, EoWC remains 1 of the most memorable and poignant RPGs I've played.
