B&B is the Soulslike RPG I always wanted, but never knew was there. What I truly appreciate is how it deviates from the core mechanics of the games that inspired it, by pushing the idea that the game should be played more like a Souls-themed narrative game with some light combat mechanics, than the often-grindy and punishing FromSoftware games that inspired this.  The rules are clear and succinct; I could easily sit anyone down and explain the rules, and in an hour we could be playing our first session, a quality I always admire in a game. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone who loves the Souls series of games and always wanted to have the experience of playing one in a narrative focused format.
