The layout of the rules is functional, but the simple black-on-white text boxes make it harder to find certain things fast and it is straining to read (despite the concise structure).
How cats are portrayed is cute and sets the tone well, but I (personally) miss the possibility to play a more heroic narrative style. The OSR roots are clearly visible, making the cats a more unremarkable presence in the fictional, ludic space. This is however, based (in part) on my personal tastes - I'm not the biggest fan of the OSR-structure - and not a huge problem. I can still adjust that with houserules, the actual rules are (as mentioned above) rather concise. Still, I would have like to see an extra paragraph with the authors/designers take on that style of play.
