Excellent analysis of how Marvel's sales are plummeting, with multiple potential causes: endless focus on quick-sales gimmicks that actively discourage long-term subscriptions, marketing decisions ranging from baffling to horrible, and a hostile approach to feedback from their fans.
Also, mention of Homestuck as a comic that does things right (at least as far as "giving fans enough of what they want so they keep coming back;" not going into moral judgments here); yay.
Very incisive commentary that completely bypasses any discussion of Marvel's content and focuses on their business decisions, and the obvious flaws therein. (Does not claim there are no problems with the content - just that their business structure would be bleeding profit even if everyone loved all actual stories.)
A+ content; would buy again (did buy this time); will be watching for more.
