Ambitious but lacking.
While the puzzles rooms are good they don't have that much tension built into them, and the NPC companion ends up feeling like dead weight (pardon the pun).
The final twist is somewhat meanspirited from a Doylist pov, and rather preachy in the diagetic sense.

But still worth it, especially if the sequel manages to balance out the mystery, horror, and erotic elements more thoroughly.
