Probably my favourite RPG zine at the moment!
Imagine The Dying Earth, add it to Gamma World with the goofiness turned down a few notches, and add the tiniest, tiniest sprinkling of something like Dark Sun and stir well. It's light post apocalypse with a strong emphasis on the far-future fantastical, which is by no means untrodden ground at this point in the OSR/DIYRPG/whateverthefuck but the author/illustrator really puts their imagination into high gear in a way that gives it distinct flavour and the sheer volume of random tables that make up the bulk of the zine give you the opportunity to really make it your own - a true toolbox.
Rules-wise it uses a modified version of Knave that ditches weapon/armour quality and adds in a cool wound system. Personally I thought Knave was okay before I saw this, but I'd always be reaching for other options - yet for some reason it really clicks here. I imagine this is due to the onslaught of random detail when creating a character and rolling for their starting items/gifts and so on, PCs really feel like they are immediately embedded in a strange world.
Strongest recommendation!
