there are a lot of empty rooms with seemingly no purpose, I even beat a midboss and ended up in a dead end. 

I also can't find a boss key I need, I checked a walkthrough and I just got a regular key at that point. At least I can just ignore the level and dig under the gate.

Gameplay is fun but it's very rough around the edges
