As a game designer I feel obligated to hate the time management mini-game, but as a player I honestly didn't mind. I actually liked how there weren't any pass/fail choices in the events. It allowed Sara to be her own person and make her own mistakes without immediately getting a bad end. My biggest complaint is the unevenness of the routes. The Lavinia and Jessie routes are both five-star material, but the other routes feel like afterthoughts. I would have liked the other characters to also show hidden depths beyond what was already in the source material.
