I've wandered around a number of incomprehensible art museums in my time, and as I played through this game I found myself imagining, with surprising vividness, art that I had conjured from my brain but somehow still did not understand at all.

Unfortunately the museums are all closed now, but this is a surprisingly good simulation of the experience.
