I usually hate "chance" games where the results are based on a long winding road of randomly generated events, since a lot of it feels bogus and I never really felt motivated to continue. 

But this game has the audacity to have a mopey, black haired man as the only visual character, and my god do my "protect boy" instincts go off for him. I makes me physically cross my fingers in hopes nothing bad happens to him on an exploration, or pray to any and all deities in power that his curse won't speed up (although the character sprites for cursed mode are fantastic).

Overall, very good game (and boy).
