If you're looking for a way to spend 15 minutes getting a tiny taste of the larger Wester Deep story, then this is totally worth a buck or two. But I think the real value here is as a solid point-and-click proof of concept - the DOS-era aesthetic leaves a bit to be desired artistically, considering how expertly-rendered the source material is, and in general the writing, world-building, and art of the comic is sorely missed in this little treat.
