It's come very far in a very short time, and if you know Ruby (or, as I've seen from others, even if you don't) it's an incredibly quick way to get started in game development. There's great balance here between being easy to use with the things you need to get things done, without all the bloat you see with many other game development tools. In addition to all that it has an incredibly active and helpful rabble in the Discord, including the Developers themselves are very present. The devs are great at taking feedback and suggestions, and put out regular updates with features requested by the community, as well as doling out their own suggestions, advice and game dev philosophies.
