This is just horrible... hope you're reasonable to not go apesh** over this comment, but this is the truth:
1
- In the start screen, if your intention is to murder someone through
blowing their eardrums, then you might be successful because the volume
is just beyond loud on an otherwise very noisy genre of music, f you're
wearing headphones, if not your walls just collapsed. Do you not realize
you can set the volume of each file in the wav itself/cue file if you
have one/ambience as well??
2 - The "Tutorial screen" is just
plain ugly but at least it tells the controls. I'm curious as to if you
did a level for it alone or something because given the stuff below,
idk, sounds like it might.
3 - You left debug prints of the
chaser's health on. Whether that was a lazy form of a health bar or
couldn't bother to make one, it's still a negative point because it
breaks whatever "immersion" this may have had.
4 - Is that serious a JPG quality image as the city background?
5
- Personally (this one is my personal opinion) I think it's just kind
of silly that you need to turn around to shoot while running away. I've
never played something like that, if you're being chased you usually
don't need to bother about turning around to shoot, or to do the moving
at all.
7 - Did you really left logs/manifest file in the folder?
8
- Was it really that hard to add an icon to the game and change the
folder name instead of leaving it as WindowsNoEditor? At least you
didn't zip the files without the folder, so there's that.
And finally, 9 - Really? 900mb? There was jack size optimization done on this...
All
this said, you really need to go look at several tutorials of how to
effectively make a game using UE4 because sorry not sorry, but this is just horrendous...
EDIT:
Okay I need to expand this...
9.1 - I just unpacked your pak to see why it's so big. You seriously left the entire polygon town and ue4 starter content files there?? Polygon town is alone almost 200mb and the starter content is 500!!!
Why is it so hard to delete what you're not using??
