I just love this concept; it couldn't possibly be more relatable, and you've presented it in such an appealing style.  I'd like to see some additional mechanics to give the game a little more staying power.  For example, I was hooked immediatly by the line "you're running out of small talk", and I'd hoped to see this implemented literally in the game, i.e. talking to people or perhaps just passing near them depletes your timer faster.  Perhaps it could even be a literal Small Talk meter as opposed to a timer.  This would give the player more to do while traversing the house, dodging other partygoers instead of just plowing heedlessly through them.  Perhaps there could be a reason to talk to certain people (but obviously not most of them).

On a completely different note, I found myself becoming quite motion sick after just a few minutes in-game.  This tends to arise for me in fast-paced games with a wide field of view, speedy turning, high framerate, motion blur, etc.  Some of this is unavoidable, but it could be helped by additional Options like an adjustable FOV, resolution, windowed/fullscreen toggle, framerate limiter, mouse sensitivity, etc.
