Like it or hate it, the ability of this developer to follow their creative vision no matter how outlandish it may seem to the average person is incredibly respectable. It takes a really, really special kind of person to lean this much into absurdity and surrealism, and the fact that this saga, still manages to be a consistent fictional universe, and function somewhat consistently under its own rules, is actually really impressive.
