Trigaea is a relatively short yet invredibly rich and fleshed out game. Without spoilers, it's a beautifull yet tragic story about a person lost in a world that isn't their own. In short, I would recomend this to anyone who doesn't mind/enjoys reading, because the story itself is so good, I don't think you need to like the genre to apretiate it.

The story is amazing, with incredible writing, character development, and world building. It manages to get you atached to a character easily, doing what a lot of writers strugle with masterfully. Letting a character describe themselves through their actions, instead of a narrator telling telling. It takes it's time to do it, giving you small crumbs about the characters, letting you see who they are, their motivations, their morals... it letsyou fill the holes that the game leaves, giving you the freedom to flesh out the characters more in your mind, making you grow even more attached to them. The endings were all clearly greatly worked on, and it shows the passion that went into making this game. In my personal opinion, the ways it let's you choose the endings, and the choices themselves, make it one of the best story driven games out there, comparable to Undertale or Cyberpunk 2077.

There are some spelling and orthographic mistakes but it doesn't affect the experience at all. I must say, the exploring could use some more love, as it can get repetitive really quickly, and fights don't really pose that much of a threat or any threat at all unless you were actively trying not to level up/get upgrades. 

The complaints are mainly me being nitpicky, as I didn't want to write a review that just praised the game, although iI was tempted to do it. For me, it was a 10/10, fully deserving of it. The fact that it's free is just the cherry on top, and this is the first free game I have ever played that made me want to donate to the creator. I have yet to fing a patreon, so I'll probably buy his book.
