I bought and read this game quite a while ago. I held off on rating it because I hadn't played it yet, and I thought I would need to play it to fully grasp it. But I don't think that's entirely fair. I'd love to play the game, but I think you've done a fantastic job of laying out the premise and the questions that Rider's Last Rites ask. Even without playing the game, it makes me think about the prompts, the daunting task ahead of me. And I think it's a wonderful prompt, a terrifying prompt, and simultaneously a game I desperately want to play and a situation I never want to have to confront.
