Immaterialise rated Whipped And Steamy • Cosplay Café

A browser game made in HTML5.

started off thinking this game was really well put-together, but then it continuously lowered my view of it. at first it looks really nice: clean graphics, really good ui's.  writing was ok.

but then it gets repetitive really quickly. really quickly. you end up doing the same thing over and over again (and skipping lots of dialogue which you've seen already) to finish the last few character profiles and collect the last few glossary terms. after a while the writing got boring because there didn't really seem to be a point to it.

encountered a couple of bugs too. El Bidissimo's 3rd and 4th profile pages displayed Mop Maid's 3rd and 4th profile pages for some reason. the Honey Toast snack continuously had the alert on it that Chef Honeypot had requested it, despite the fact I had already completed his story line.

if the game was more consistent with unlocking profiles + glossary terms, and if the writing was more interesting (e.g. felt like it was leading somewhere instead of just spouting random facts), i would have enjoyed this a lot more. throw in a drink-making minigame to spice up the content a bit (which i realise would have been a lot of extra work, but this game really needed some variety. maybe i was incorrect to do so, but i also expected some sort of drink-making minigame before going into this) and i think it would be perfect.
