I'm biased, but this is my go-to fantasy ttrpg when I want to run something narrative-forward. It's a fantastic choice for running all sorts of adventures, such as: OSR, classic D&D proper, Pathfinder, 5e, 13th Age, NSR games like Cairn, Mausritter, etc.

You really fly through those adventures and get to the good parts when you don't have to slow every session to a crawl when combat starts.
