Always good to see Yuel and Tavi in different AUs (and man, it's funny to see Yuel and Safiya having a nice relationship after first being introduced to them in Ashes And Illusions). I think Tavi really shines here with his inner turmoil and self-hatred. You just wanna hug him and let him have a happy ending.

The art is also wonderful: good sprites and I like the GUI with all the thorns twisting around the text boxes.

(Only quibble is that whilst I do love the over-the-shoulder shots with characters in silhouette, it does sometimes break the 180 rule which can be jarring, but that's not a big deal and just something to think about in future games!)
