McCoco rated Another Night at the Archive

McCoco rated a game 19 hours ago
A browser game made in HTML5.

I am not finished yet, but having a difficult time getting through it (playing on downloaded version). I really like the concept and am enjoying the mysteries, but the controls and UI of this game make it very clunky to play.

- You are limited in how far you can zoom in, making it very difficult to read a lot of the documents

 - The "back" button seems to be located in a different spot for each interface. And it can be weirdly difficult to locate while zoomed in on the table.

 - I wish this game had more keyboard controls and was less reliant on the mouse. It gets annoying fast having to enter long strings of numbers into multiple boxes and having to click through to each box instead of being able to TAB through. The ability to use ESC instead of the back button would also be a major QOL improvement.

 - Lastly, games of this genre usually give you some kind of indication that a document has been fully exhausted of hints. I think that would be very helpful here, especially with the sheer quantity of documents you quickly end up with piled on your desk.
