This is a game that stands on its own while giving strong VA-11 HALL-A vibes. However, it opts for fantasy races set in a modern time aesthetic instead of a near-future cyberpunk one. The characterization is really warm-hearted and the individual character stories are pleasant and kind. The emphasis on South East Asian beverages adds heart and a homely feel to being a barista. (And it makes sense given togeproductions is based in Indonesia.) Figuring out drink combinations can be tricky, and much like VA-11 HALL-A, you're working your way through listening to the lives of customers.

All in all, I think it's a delightful playthrough that offers fun characterization. The little "twist" ending is a clever touch and offers just a little more content for those who have grown attached to the world and its cast. Unfortunately, the game is a little short. But regardless, the art style is charming, the expressions and little graphical extras (phone lighting up, for example) are a nice touch, and the music is great. It's a worthwhile play for those who could use a nice game of helping people live their lives, one drink at a time.
