fluffbyte rated THE DEATH OF HARSH NOISE

fluffbyte rated a death 16 days ago
A downloadable death for Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android.

As someone who has yet to play loner dog i am very curious about seeing what other suffering is in store for the characters in that work. This was a hell of a ride. its hard to put words to, and im sure that some of what i want to say should be said elsewhere, but this was deeply effecting. it bores into me like a scalpel.

the miyopia and distress harsh noise feels are deeply relatable to a certain kinda fucked up trans person and in the world that wants us dead already , and many times over, there feels like there is a lot here of reclamatory eroticisim in these girls' kinks and...other preculcivities...not that they chose them but still. there is power in kinda looking ur fucked up ness in the eyes.

this is such a raw piece and its inensity caught me off guard a bit. not just the feelings, but how the VN unfolded, in and around its diegesis.

the irony is that i think this will be a challenging work for a lot of folks i think would benefit from reading it. it doesnt provide answers to the necropolitics of translife, the pain and trauma of the lives we have to lead, or the compounding biogtries and injustices that run our world and shape our lives but still...processing is so important.

we all die and having a facination in death is...strangely healthy to a point. knowing how different cultures do it, learning about death as a process and how folks mourn is as great... thought I can't even say that myself has the best relationship with it, despite surviving several attempts to leave our body. one would think after a point you would be comfortable, but not so.

Harsh Noise is a character i am not mourning. but not just her life but the pain to lead to it suffering so much....to not being satisfied with happiness that there was always a rock in its shoe that didn't allow it really enjoy the moment fully. depression and trauma is a bitch for sure.

again there is so much to say but i've think we were thinking a lot about was a feeling of  if being trans by itself is a trauma and how the world treats us,...and how we treat eachother. community is so important. even for fucked up girl things....esp for fucked up girl things
