I had a fantastic experience playing Your Happy Place. It builds upon an idea from a couple of years ago, and it does so in a way that only adds to the experience.
I really enjoyed how fleshed out the old areas were, as well as the new environments. The entities were well implemented and genuinely scared me without screaming in my face—no real jump scares here, just liminal dread and implied threats of something sinister.
The lighting is the only issue I had with it, but it wasn't quite bad enough to remove a star from my rating. Sometimes it was so dark it was difficult to tell where to go, and sometimes I'd suddenly be blinded by how bright some environments would get. Overall, I think with a little tweaking this could be greatly improved.
This has been one of the best Liminal Space/Backrooms games I've played this year, and I play a ton of them on my YouTube channel. Give it a chance and see for yourself.
