What a programming mess.  Something is very wrong when you have to spend half of the game just trying to locate the town.  You need to have a VHS setting toggle.  VHS never looked like this ever, the only time it would look like this is when the VHS player was broken.  With one playthrough I eventually went back to the car without finding Mouton, and escaped and won the game.  I played the game twice and it was disappointing each time.
