Decided to roll for the story. Coyote and the Pineapple were best friends until they got caught in a labyrinth in the wood at which point a wasp  drained my morality leading Wolf (it made more sense in the woods than a coyote) smashed his friend with a stick trying to kill the wasp. The first rebirth I achieved enlightenment when Wolf died protecting his new friend, a rose, from a kraken living in the woods. Not the story I expected, but absolutely a hoot and a half.
